Will I need a fishing license ?

No. In Florida each guide is licensed by the State (in addition to the US Coast Guard). The guide's fishing license covers all charter customers on his boat for the duration of the charter.

 

What fishing tackle is provided ?

Top of the line fishing tackle, both fly and spin, is provided. This includes all flies, lures, leaders and line. However, if you have your own tackle that is suitable for fishing in our area you are welcome to bring it. Note: To maximize our fishing time, please have your gear rigged and ready at our preset departure time

 

Where will we meet ?

My dock is at Glades Haven Marina, located in Everglades City - We will meet there 15 minutes prior to our scheduled departure. Please contact me the evening before our charter to review our game plan for the following day.

 

What should I bring ?

• SPF 30 (or higher) Sunscreen
• Polarized Sunglasses
• Hat (dark under brim to minimize glare)
• Non-Marking Deck Shoes or White Sneakers
• Long Sleeve Casting Style Shirt (vented - light colored cotton)
• Bandana - Can be used for sun protection, or to cool down (wet and tie on neck)
• Food & Beverages - I'll provide a cooler with ice
